The Lumberyard Arts Center enthusiastically announces LINDSEY TOOT as our 2020 Youth Scholarship Arts Recipient. Lindsey will receive a renewable $1,000 scholarship while she pursues a higher education degree in the arts. Lindsey will be attending the University of Kansas this fall, majoring in illustration/animation in KU’s School of Design. She also plans to minor in marketing and play in the KU Orchestra.  Congratulations, Lindsey! We know you’ll be flying far and are excited to watch you soar!

We are also proud of our other recent scholarship recipients, who continue to work toward their arts degree completion, include Megan Jardon (BHS 2019 graduate) and Jade Slavin (BHS 2018 graduate).

Since 2012, over $40,000 dollars have been raised to support students pursuing their dreams in the arts. Scholarship funds are generated through our annual Youth Scholarship Auction formerly known as the “Chocolate Auction.” We accept donations year-round to support our talented Baldwin High School graduates. If you wish to make a donation, please contact Jeannette Blackmar, Executive Director, director@lumberyardartscenter.org, 785-594-3186.
