Diversity & Belonging

The Lumberyard Arts Center supports the creative growth of all, embracing the diversity of socioeconomic statuses, races, ethnicities, nationalities, genders, sexualities, ages, abilities, and creeds. We are committed to creating policies to ensure that our employees, board members, volunteers, and visitors feel safe and welcome as well as programs that speak to the wide variety of identities that make up our community. We truly believe that art has the power to transform our community into a more just, equitable, and open place where everyone belongs.
